The Hotel Elisabeth, which is still managed by the owner himself, is a good example of how the change from classic to modern can succeed: Change is incorporated everywhere – change and a watchful eye for current developments. The main building is a typical hotel building from the 60s and 70s, the extension to the rear is brand new. Alone the corridors with curved natural wooden walls are impressive. The rooms themselves are very spacious, furnished with high quality materials and are very comfortable. In the lobby there are many sofas, also some old ones, but due to the colourful mixture everything looks very modern and inviting – when you come to the hotel in the evening, there are groups everywhere in the seating areas. This makes it very lively and communicative. In the hotel, there are several restaurant areas that are partly furnished in the style of a Tyrolean Hut. The kitchen is classic, the breakfast offers a lot, there is something for every taste, sadly the presentation lacks some charm.
The hotel’s own spa area is impressive: very spacious, ultra-modern in design and many possibilities to retreat and try out the innovative Alpienne product line with medicinal herbs from the region. Overall you can spend a very good time at Hotel Elisabeth.
